The Zonta Club of Brisbane City Heart supports a range of local and international projects that empower women and girls to reach their full potential.
When considering new projects to support the following parameters are considered by the Board of the Zonta Club of Brisbane City Heart.
We are socially inclusive
We are committed to working with like-minded, community/not-for-profit organisations who provide services to support women and girls facing disadvantage and challenges which disempower them.
We will work within both the Brisbane area and Queensland wide depending on the need.
We will actively seek to grow our membership base with people from a diverse range of backgrounds (both men and women) who are committed to advocacy and services to support women in our community.

We support innovation

We are accountable
Funding recipients must be able to demonstrate adequate governance to indicate sound financial management and the ability to report on funding provided. We will set clear expectations with funding recipients in regard to our expected outcomes and reporting requirements.
Where possible and appropriate, we make transparent decisions within a participatory framework with our members. We take the time to be honest with our members, including difficult conversations when appropriate and follow through on our commitments.
